This one-hour workshop, held in the barrel room at Zin Valle Vineyards, will guide you through understanding essential oils and how to create calming and uplifting blends to take home with you. Yoga in the Pines Mini Retreat
Join us for a day retreat among the pines in Cloudcroft, NM on Saturday, March 16, 2024! This mini retreat will invite us to take some time out of our busy schedules to practice self-connection, mindfulness, and pause for rejuvenation. We’ll enjoy connection with our community while spending time in the beautiful landscape of the Lincoln National Forest.
Candlelit Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath
Restorative yoga is a restful practice that aims to create a relaxation response. Through holding poses for extended periods supported by props, the nervous system gets a chance to rest and reset, allowing for stress relief from our busy lives. Practice will be held via candlelight for the first 75 minutes followed by a sound bath using crystal singing bowls.
Recovery for Climbers
Climbing often leaves us feeling sore in multiple areas around the body. In order to speed up recovery, this yoga class will be slow and steady with a focus on stretching out muscles commonly used during climbing sessions. Mindfulness and breath cues will be offered throughout the class to help with being present and strengthening the mind-body connection. Class will be focused on recovery and intended for all skill levels. Please bring your own mat and feel free to bring blocks if you like to incorporate these into your practice.
Resilience for Climbers
Resilience for Climbers is a vinyasa based class that will guide you through a flow that focuses on muscle groups critical to climbing. The goal will be to build strength, both physically and mentally, to increase resilience for climbing and beyond. Class will be focused on strength and intended for all skill levels. Please bring your own mat and feel free to bring blocks if you like to incorporate these into your practice.
